Culinary artists Bompas & Parr unveiled their new installation piece yesterday called The Trivia Voyage of Discovery. The installation was created with Studio TooGood and is perched on the rooftop of the Selfridges store in central London.

The installation invites voyagers to take a ride on a small rowboat across a vivid green lake, complete with a plant covered mountain and waterfall. It also celebrates the launch of Truvia, a new, ethical, and calorie-free sugar alternative derived from the stevia plant. The inspiration for the work came from the plants native home of the Iguazu Falls in South America.

With London rooftops being taken over by pop up installations and gardens this summer, The Trivia Voyage of Discovery is something innovative and different. We hope to see more roof top pop-up projects being this intelligent and sensitive to their location.

The installation is only open until the 24th July, so hurry up and get up there!
