Australian beauty brand Aesop has opened a pop-up kiosk located in Grand Central Station in New York. The new temporary store comes ahead of plans for the brand to open two standalone stores in the city in August this year.

The pop-up space has been designed by New York-based architects Tacklebox, which has taken inspiration from the city and crafted the stand using 1000 back issues of the New York Times. The result is a striking and sophisticated store where customers can shop the current range and recently launched products.

This a great way to test the water and introduce new customers to the brand prior to the launches of the flagship stores. Aesop also demonstrates once again its ability to create individual interior environments using simple, reclaimed materials.
