Had a little nose around Threadshow, a "showcase of emerging fashion designers and the music and art that rock their world", and here are the pictures.
The first UK Threadshow (there have already been successful shows in Seattle and San Diego), Threadshow UK was held at Paintworks, the newly established exhibition/studio space; formerly a paint mixing factory. The guys from the Let them Hang Gallery had a good showing, with work from artists including Sickboy, Mr Jago & Xenz.
There were lots of independent designers showing, a personal favourite being Uchi (site to be updated soon) who create "urban clothing and products influenced by hiphop, our love for life and all things real". Nice.
Threadshow returns to Bristol on December 10th, and theres another show lined up for Decmber 3rd in Seattle.
