In 1964 Jean Maneval created the six-shell Bubble House.

Made entirely of synthetic materials, each living unit could be easily transported by truck and available in white, green and brown to blend perfectly into the landscape. The interior included its own range of furniture designed to fit the curves of the shelves. It was part of the program to equip an experimental vacation center in the pyrenean mountains. Only 30 were made and production ended in the 70s.
