It's been hard keeping quiet on this mega collabo: Our friends over at Stones Throw records and Protein fam Paul Chang from What Matters Most have teamed up with cult Brazilian actor and singer Seu Jorge to release his new single The Model.
We're massive fans of Seu Jorge's work and are psyched to be involved with getting the word out about his single, which is released via film, vinyl and digital with a two-part film inspired by his cover of Kraftwerk's angular anthem. He's pulled in some big names for this project, both films are directed by Kahlil Joseph who recently directed Aloe Blacc's "I Need A Dollar" video and Melodie McDaniel shot all the behind the scenes photos of Jorge's short films.
Jorge is probably best known around our ends as the star of films City of God and The Life Aquatic but he's known as much for being a music revolutionary back home as he is for his beat generation-cool.
