The ever/over-trendy designer Karim Rashid will be premiering his KIT 24 at Toronto's annual Interior Design Show. This project is Rashid's first attempt at prefab housing, and promises to be an elegantly designed object with captivating interior spaces.

Technically, this is more of a kit house and is based on the hours of the day. This 24-sided jewel is Rashid's experiment with modular building components and how they can be assembled "simply and quickly". If a house designed by Rashid isn't enough for you, don't worry, the furniture, accessories, and even the flooring are to his credit. The house was fabricated by Prototype Design Lab, a group of "house designers and craftsmen who utilize state-of-the-art technology to design and build." [via Inhabitat]
