It's film festival submissions season, so make sure make plenty of dubs of your latest creation and send it to our friends at onedotzero for their tenth anniversary festival. Submission deadline is 5pm on Friday 24th February, 2006. 2006 is onedotzero's tenth anniversary, and will be marked with very special events, projects and programming.  The tenth annual festival will be the best yet, celebrating and consolidating the achievements of the last decade with a clear focus on the future. Taking place at the ICA, London, UK, 2-11 June 2006, the 10 day London festival is the first stop on onedotzero's global network of festivals which travels across the UK, Europe, the Baltics, the Americas and Australasia. onedotzero is currently open for submissions of original moving image work for the following programming areas: wow + flutter: experimental motion graphic explorations. True to its pioneering roots, wow + flutter features a spectrum of styles spanning animation, motion graphics and abstract experimentation from a wide geographic spread.  Preference will be placed on new work created for, or premiering at the festival. wavelength: music videos. Innovative and risk taking work from the most adventurous music promo directors around, from zero to high budget - includes directors√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ cuts, lost promos and previously unseen creations. Recent programmes have included work from Michel Gondry, Pleix, Logan, Ne-o, Intro, Shynola and Lynn Fox. extended_play: narrative shorts. Short film / animation programme focusing on narrative-driven work, which extend beyond the boundaries of storytelling and style. The 2005 programme included work from Shane Acker, Dominic Hailstone, Gaelle Denis and Pac Collective. j-star: innovative Japanese short form work. Featuring a selection of works rarely seen outside Japan, showcasing an original and diverse range of creativity, spanning promos, shorts, animation and graphics. documentaries Radical short and feature length original documentaries. Animated / graphic / hybrid documentary submissions encouraged, but all considered. fashion Fashion's collision with the fields of graphic design, illustration and new forms of moving image has produced fascinating results. onedotzero welcomes both individual and collaborative works, which explore fashions' cinematic potential. environment Continuing to explore the relationship between moving image and architecture, onedotzero is looking for films which deal with rural and urban environments. Past festivals have featured work from the AA, Bartlett and London Metropolitan Schools of Architecture.
