So I had a look round the New Designers exhibition last week at the Business Design Centre, and here's a couple of best pieces of work that caught my eye... Eva Veliotou/Flava UKSimple but intelligent, the Contact range by Eva Veliotou, a Central Saint Martins Graduate, "evoke the equally child like and sensual pleasures of eating". The pieces appear to have been licked, sipped and bitten. Genius.

Adam VaughanAnother one of my favourites were the 'hub bubs' by Adam Vaughan, which are character based toys that "record short samples of sound via a built in microphone to any one of the eight pads featured on the toy. The sounds can be played back by pressing the pads and made into a rhythm or melody" the sampled sounds can also be shared between the 'bubs' by connecting them together and the use of a computer based 'hub' can allow more complex melodies to be made.

There was also a few more pieces that caught my eye, but it looks like they might have to go in a follow up post.
