As part of the five-day UK International Manga and Anime Festival (IMAF) 2005 held in London 21-25 October, a competition with a total prize fund of $75,000 looks to find the new, talented animators and artists. IMAF 2005 aims to bring the best of international manga and anime to the UK. Held at London's County Hall, on the bank of the river Thames, it will be a celebration of all that is best in this fast-changing and exciting genre. The festival's competition is now open for entries in a total of 12 sub categories. Student and Open Categories include: * Character Design * Storyboard Manga * Animated Film The "Open" competition is open to entries from anyone. If you're an industry professional, a production team, an amateur, a student, or even just a fan, you are free to submit your designs and films. The prize money for all the categories in this section is $5,000.
