The worlds of high fashion and technology meet with the launch of three laptop bag designs by Julien Macdonald for Intel. "The Julien Macdonald laptop bag for Intel was at least partly inspired by seeing fashion industry friends typing furiously into their laptops but hiding their laptop bags in shame under their chairs at fashion events. The bags are designed for the modern woman that relies on technology but would prefer a look that is a little more chic than geek." said Julien Macdonald.

The designs are created in soft Nappa leather with zips, buttons and details finished in gold. The bags come in three colour-ways designed to suit every season and outfit: modern white, glamorous fuchsia and classic black. The bags are sleek and sexy and double up as a handbag with enough space to carry both your laptop and all your essential items. The bag encapsulates everything that has made the handbag an essential accessory and object of desire for women across the world. Like all classic handbags the bag perfectly combines the aesthetic and the practical. The three different designs have been created for three different types of woman: Glamorous Fuchsia - The Fuchsia bag is designed to make a dramatic and long lasting statement. This design is for a bold and colourful woman who likes to be noticed - very Samantha from Sex and the City. Modern White - The uber-white design is for the modern and creative businesswoman who likes to combine elegance and sophistication with the latest trends and colour. If given the choice, this woman would prefer to flick through the latest fashion magazine rather than an annual report. Classic Black - The classic black design is for the businesswoman that wants to feel at home whether she's in the boardroom, on the high street or at a champagne reception. A colour that never dates, the classic and understated black bag complements any location, look or style. "The women I design for are constantly on the move, leading busy work and social lives, and technology plays an important role in keeping them connected, and in charge of all aspects of their lives. The Julien Macdonald laptop bag for Intel allows them to enjoy the benefits of technology and be fashionable at the same time" said Julien Macdonald. "Today's successful women aren't usually interested in how technology works, they are interested in how it enhances their life. The Julien Macdonald laptop bag for Intel is designed to match the new type of laptop enabled by Intel Centrino mobile technology and the women that use it: smart, chic and connected. Working with Julien Macdonald is a great way for us to show how far technology has become integrated and essential to the modern woman," said David Mitchell of Intel. The Julien Macdonald laptop bag for Intel is designed to compliment IntelR CentrinoT mobile technology which is transforming laptops from being cumbersome and clunky to chic, connected lifestyle accessories. The Julien Macdonald laptop bag for Intel is being produced as a limited edition and will be available at selected retail outlets and Intel events. Any profits from the bag will be donated to a nominated charity.
