Pitchfork are launching a sister site on July 7 focusing on leftfield pop, experimental, and home-recorded sounds. Altered Zones will be under the direction of co-editors Visitation Rites and Transparent, both well-respected blogs that revolve around the above musical genres. An international line-up of the world’s hottest bloggers including 20 Jazz Funk Greats, Gorilla vs. Bear and Don’t Die Wondering make up the contributors for Altered Zones - building Altered Zones into an exciting platform for the most adventurous new artists from the underground to showcase their work.
The blog will have its contributors share their fave tracks each week, daily posts and highlight their own personal undiscovered tracks. Keep your eyes peeled for this one, we think this blog is going to blow up!
