Style. Substance. Stability. Story. We all want these things in a strategy game, but so rarely do we get them all in one package! That's why when I see a game like Star Wars: Rebellion I want to sing from the rooftops. Many praises are due to the gang at LucasArts for bringing us one of the most playable, most involving, and most addictive spaceploitation games I've seen in many moons.

Star Wars: Rebellion is a strategy game that duplicates the war between Emperor Palpatine and the Rebel Alliance. As the game begins, the destruction of the Death Star has left the universe in flux, political support for the Emperor is at an all-time low, and the Rebel Alliance enjoys an unprecedented opportunity to recruit new worlds to the cause. Presently, the two sides are almost balanced in power. Most sectors of the galaxy are neutral now, waiting to see where the chips will fall before they choose a side. Both factions have to regroup, recruit, develop new political ties, and try to interfere with one another as much as possible."
