It is not everyday that one of London's best radio stations gets questioned about its existance ... if you were GLR then wouldn't you take it personally?Since Ocotber 1988 GLR [Greater London Radio] has been broadcasting some top tunes from most of the "influential" DJ's in the land including: from "goldie oldies" like Robbie Vincent and Tony Blackbur to modern day "mavericks" like Chris Evans [you decide], Nick Abbott, Danny Baker, Emma Freud, Mariella Frostrup, Mark Lamarr, Chris Morris, Anne Nightingale, Jamie Theakston and Johnnie Vaughan. We were actually cueing up a-bit-of-a-story about the recent rise of quality music on GLR [especially Dr. Bob Jones' sensational sonic sessions] but have been pipted to the post by this nasty ultimatum.The good news is if you want GLR to be making your Sunday morning even more easy then you need to let the BBC know ... the bad news is that you only have two days left [13th October].
