London has got itself a new central venue. It's big, just off Charing X Road and shaping up to challenge some of the more tired venues in town. Called "Open", it has already got an impressive line-up of acts and regular nights planned, including the Oxygen every Thursday and some talk of some Ninja noise in the near future.Promising to be a "multimedia club venue" [whatever that means], the heavily influenced Italian connections are sure to be doing something different in the run up to "silly season" of all things festive. The preview night was last night and judging by the amount of work still needed to be done before health and safety can stop giggling, it should be open soon'ish(!)
