Neil Gaiman returns to cult classic Sandman graphic novel for the first full story since 1996 with The Sandman: The Dream Hunters, an illustrated journey with full-page paintings by acclaimed illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.Dream Hunters tells of the ill-fated romance about a shape-changing fox who must rely on all her craftiness to save the humble monk she loves. The hardcover runs 128-pages, for $29.95, and mid-way through it contains a four-page pull-out spread of the Japanese Sandman, referred to in the story as The King of All Night’s Dreaming.Artist Amano is currently the subject of a major multimedia exhibition at New York City’s Angel Orensenz Foundation. Original cells from his work on Sandman are on display, as is his work on the Final Fantasy games, and his new creation, Hero.? ZENtertainment
