Now in its fourth year, 'Mixmasters' returns to our screens with exclusive mixes from leading DJs with visual mixes from top VJs and animators, as well as original audiovisual (AV) work. The forthcoming series will include mixes from artists including breakbeat masters Plump DJs (Finger Lickin'), Chicago house don Derrick Carter (Classic), Miss Kittin (Mental Groove), Bpitch Control founder Ellen Allien, US techno wunderkind Matthew Dear (Ghostly International), Germany's Superpitcher (Kompakt) and T. Raumschmiere (Shitkatapult) and from Japan Rei Harakami (Sublime) and Hiroshi Watanabi aka Tread (Third Ear). More leftfield and downtempo offerings are provided by Mr Projectile, along with mixes from Pork Recordings and City Centre Offices. Visual mixes come from across the globe, including Germany's top VJs Giraffentoast, Monitor Automatique, Pfadfinderei and Transforma, from France eMovie and VJ Milosh, Switzerland's Francois Chalet, animator Neil McFarland (who creates visuals for the Super Furry Animals), design gurus Lost in Space, Irish VJ team & promo makers Delicious Nine, and leading Japanese VJs TomoGrapher and Glamoove (the creators of Motiondive VJ software). The series also features AV mixes from British artists including Orbital collaborators The Mellowtrons, Diesel-U-Music award winners Exceeda and DJ Si Begg & Robin Mahoney's The Noodles Foundation - all of whom are also working on solo DVD albums for the Addictive TV DVD label.
