Called the Info-Mica, you could actually see this in the market as early as 2005, initially in portable devices, but NTT believes that this could be a possible alternative to semi conductor chips that drive all applications. The first batch will be only a gig, but NTT intends to increase its capacity to 10gbs. The cards won't be re-writable.
