bored, a little angry and little full of themselves. They are also,

if one can believe their claims, responsible for last month's

"hacker" assaults on U.S. military computers. The cyberattack on the

Defense Department, and another launched on thousands of

Windows-based computers at universities and government sites across

the country, points up the power hackers wield in a society ruled by

computers.
