"How does one create a new structural form, or any other form for that matter? A form is basically evolved through the imaginative powers of the human mind. However, in this process, the use of modern computers and graphics software can be of enormous help. Also, there is an emerging branch of knowledge that provides a convenient medium for the mind to exercise its creative powers in evolving shapes and forms. This branch of knowledge is called configuration processing and involves simple geometric-algebraic concepts.
The lecture presents an overview of these concepts and demonstrates their use in the creation of shapes and forms."
