London?s mecca of mixed media mayhem is firing off a new series of interactive club nights from 3 December with Games Night. Themed to coincide with Miltos Manetas’ scene-stealing exhibition in the Lux Gallery, After Video Games, Games Night is an art party that brings the arcade to the art: a ?sensational night? of interactive games, music, films, drinks and dancing.The line-up includes:. Interactive games: risk your reflexes with Sega Dreamcast and the added thrill of playing large-scale projections with remote sound. DJs Martin Green [Smashing] + Patrick Whittaker [Whittaker Malem] . A tribute to Wendy Carlos: synthesiser pioneer who produced Switched on Bach (platinum in 1967) and the scores for A Clockwork Orange, The Shining and, specially for tonight, video game thriller TRON (Lux Cinema). Lens Flare ‘99: classic and unreleased animations from full motion video and pre-rendered game sequences, including the Abe’s Exxodus movie from Oddworld, Tombraider III, Parasite Eve and I-War.
