Ice skating fans still grousing over the favoritism seen in judging at the Nagano Winter Olympics will have a chance to judge for themselves at a competition in Chicago set to air on television Friday. CBS Television, together with Internet information search company Excite Inc., will give viewers a chance to judge via the Internet on the performances of 12 world champion skaters, including Scott Hamilton, Kristi Yamaguchi and Katerina Witt.

For the first time ever, a prime-time network television sports show's outcome will be determined by its viewers, said Dana McClintock, a spokesman for CBS, the network airing the show.
