Hip-Hop and bandwidth, what more is there to life? Well, you can sample both next week from two events happening in London. First up is ?Beat, Bytes and the Big Screen? which ?represents the height of retina-sizzling hip-hop promos? by screening some of the most innovative video directors such as: Spike Jonze, Ben & Joe Dempley, Richard Kenworthy, Charles Stone III among others. The session will feature the first ever animated hip-hop film, ?SNEAK ATTACK? by Invisibl Skratch Picklz? founder DJ Q-Bert which was premiered online by proteinTV earlier this year, to Charles Stone III’s r’n'b video spoof, ?WHAT THEY DO? (The Roots) as well as Oskar Fischinger’s B&W 1932 animation set to the ?LIQUID LIQUID? track made famous by sampling from Grandmaster Flash in ?THE MESSAGE’.
