We have seen how biomimicry and the reinvention of everyday objects according to natural principles can result in thought-provoking, and sometimes creepy concepts. Now we present you Nebula 12, an indoor lighting appliance that brings outside weather into our homes.
Designed by Micasa LAB in Zurich, the revolutionary weather station predicts and recreates the weather for the next 48 hours. By using LEDs, liquid nitrogen and wireless technology, Nebula 12 is able to change its aspect from a warm yellow sun to a real cloud on gloomy days. The user can adjust its settings and designate the preferred meteorological data provider.
As proud members of the Clouds Appreciation Society we are more than thrilled to notice the proliferation of appealing environmental interaction projects.
