BBH have just launched this website for the Audi RS4 that will allow users to download the new Lynn Fox-directed Spider spot onto their iPod or PlayStation. As part of the interactive and multimedia campaign, commuters in major UK train stations will also be able to view the spot on large digital screens and download a screensaver or game to their phone from those screens. In addition, online ads draw viewers into the car's lair within which are scattered the remains of other vehicles, with their owners' names above them. Audi will also broadcast the spot in full on its dedicated TV channel, which launched last year. Digital viewers will be able to press the red button to take a 360-degree tour of the car, order a brochure and watch a four-minute film of the making of the commercial. "In a highly competitive marketplace, it is crucial that we utilise today's impressive array of digital technologies to engage with our audience in a fun and interactive way. This is particularly fitting for the brand proposition of the new RS4 - high performance and sinister 'Vorsprung durch Technik'!" said Chris Hawken, Audi UK's brand communications manager, of the campaign. BBH has also drafted in cult graphic artist Frazer Irving to produce a 16-page graphic novel for Audi that will appear at the back of the Telegraph magazine on Saturday February 18th. 60,000 standalone editions of the novel will also be distributed to bars and clubs, with a Flash-animated version appearing as a scan-style movie on the Telegraph website.
