New Order has recorded a new song called 'Soundtrack' which is about 25 minutes in length, and was played at the opening Last Friday of 'The Peter Saville Show' at the London Design Museum. "For those who don't know Peter Saville, he's the art director and co-founder of Factory Records, the legendary independent record label from Manchester that released music from Joy Division and New Order. For over 25 years, Peter has been one of the most influential graphic designers who's created iconic graphics for such bands as Joy Division, New Order, Suede, Pulp, but also for Roxy Music, Ultravox and Peter Gabriel. New Order has recorded a new song called 'Soundtrack' which is about 25 minutes in length, and was played at the opening of Peter Saville's exposition last Friday. The new New Order recording is available for sale at the museum soon. The exposition is being held from May 23rd to September 19th 2003. 'Designed by Peter Saville' is the first book of his work, comprising design for music, fashion, advertising and art from 1978 to the present and is available from this month.
