Comic books just got cool again. The ultimate creative partnership between [Justin Quirk](http://justinquirk.blogspot.com/?ref=protein.xyz) and Warren Holder has birthed the first volume of [Yellowman](http://yellowmannovel.tumblr.com/?ref=protein.xyz), an un-typically un-geeky graphic novel.Justin Quirk is writer/editor for leading publications including [House](http://www.sohohouse.com/magazine?ref=protein.xyz), [Esquire](http://www.esquire.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) and [The Guardian](http://www.guardian.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz), while Warren Holder has worked as a concept artist for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Together they have created Yellowman, a new comic book mini-series.The dark tale is set in Victorian London and has been described as recalling ‘the best of Lynch’s Elephant Man, Iain Sinclair’s White Chappell, Scarlet Tracings and Campbell & Moore’s From Hell’ while maintaining originality.The comic book is presented in an unlabelled black envelope with a slick spot-varnish cover.
