Recently food publications have taken a turn for the stylish. We’ve featured several in the past, from [Cereal](http://prote.in/feed/2012/12/cereal?ref=protein.xyz) to [Alla Carta](http://prote.in/feed/2013/01/alla-carta?ref=protein.xyz), it seems design and culture are becoming increasingly important factors in culinary journalism. Last week we even hosted a [supper club](http://prote.in/feed/2013/02/the-gourmand-supper-club-ritas?ref=protein.xyz) courtesy of [The Gourmand](http://prote.in/profiles/the-gourmand?ref=protein.xyz).

The [Wolf Food Journal](http://wolf-magazine.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) is a new, free quarterly publication that compiles an eclectic mix of recipes, stories, illustrations, culinary tips and articles into a comprehensive and thoughtfully designed publication that takes a wider than usual look at food and cooking.

Expect to see it popping up all over the place soon.
