All the lucky ones are rushing off to [SXSW](http://sxsw.com/?ref=protein.xyz) this weekend for a week of fun, music and film festivities. With a lot of socialising and networking surely going down we thought we’d share this infographic with you. In our upcoming [Audience Survey](https://protein.wufoo.com/forms/protein-audience-survey-2011/?ref=protein.xyz) we looked at where people like to spend their free time, where they like to socialise and hang out.

For this audience cafés are the hot-spot, and we found attending clubs, gigs, raves and theatre venues was fairly constant across all age groups. But while spending time at galleries, restaurants and pubs all increased with age, going to the cinema and house parties seemed to go the opposite way.

Perhaps unsurprisingly the main hangouts for males across age groups were clubs and pubs, while females seem to prefer spending their time at cafés, cinemas and the theatre.
