Now that we can download a sea of songs, it almost seems overwhelming. [WeeklyIndie](http://www.weeklyindie.com/?ref=protein.xyz) have hooked onto this, inviting independent artists to send their songs over which they then select from. For each chosen song a distribution deal is signed with the artist involved, and subscribers to the site then receive it as part of 10 hand-picked songs sent to them for download.

It's [a nice concept](http://www.springwise.com/entertainment/weeklyindie/?ref=protein.xyz) \- talented artists get the exposure they deserve plus a little cash, and we get top indie picks every week as long as your taste matches that of the site. All good.
