Experiencing booze without the bloating, getting drunk or headache the next day – wouldn't that be good?

This is the idea behind [Philippe Starck’](http://www.starck.com/?ref=protein.xyz)s latest venture, WAHH. The French celebrity designer has teamed up with Harvard professor David Edwards to produce a micro-particle alcohol spray – in other words, booze in an aerosol – which omits a small jet of alcohol vapour that once consumed gives a brief sensation of being drunk.

‘Everyone has an occasional need of light-headedness, distraction and another place,’ explains Starck, ‘but our societies and codes of amusement have led to the over-consumption of alcoholic beverages as a kind of social placebo.’

There’s two types of spray on offer: the Demon, which has woody notes and is best served on sweet or salty food, and the Flash, which has a tonic flavour and an instant hit. Both are available to try and buy at Parisian science and art store [Le Laboratoire](http://www.lelaboratoire.org/?ref=protein.xyz).
