[Visualizing.org](http://visualizing.org/?ref=protein.xyz) launched on the 1st of this month at the Cooper Hewitt Why Design Now? Conference in New York in collaboration with GE. The website is basically a community of creatives that work together to try and make sense of the world's complex issues using data and design. Social media comes into play as [Visualizing.org](http://visualizing.org/?ref=protein.xyz) encourages its users to share, find, and spread the data and data visualizations about world issues as they unfold.

When there is so much information being thrown at us daily (apparently we now create more data each year than in the entirety of prior human history)[Visualizing.org](http://visualizing.org/?ref=protein.xyz) comes as a relief - overwhelming issues are morphed into aesthetically pleasing easy-to-swallow designs. Definitely worth checking out.
