The event was hosted by artist Tracy Emin and musician Jools Holland and renowned architect [David Chipperfield](http://www.davidchipperfield.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) designed the white-fronted shed-like buildings. As an area which lacks an avid art scene, connections with [Tracy Emin](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracey%5FEmin?ref=protein.xyz), who was brought up in Margate and Turner, who painted here have put Margate firmly on the arts radar. [Turner Contemporary](http://www.turnercontemporary.org/?ref=protein.xyz) will debut with Revealed, a show including work by [J.M.W Turner](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J.%5FM.%5FW.%5FTurner?ref=protein.xyz) himself alongside six contemporary artists: Conrad Shawcross, Russell Crotty, Teresita Fern√°ndez, Daniel Buren, Ellen Harvey and Douglas Gordon.
