Early mornings aren’t always easy. And it never helps when your first fix for the day goes cold… To get around this, two childhood neighbours-come-classmates decided to create something that solved these early morning woes. Working from opposite coasts in the USA, the pair spent 11 months devising their range of [Coffee Joulies](http://www.joulies.com/?ref=protein.xyz). The silver magic coffee beans use temperature-mitigating material to fine-tune the heat levels of your sacred morning cup of coffee. Simply add the Coffee Joulies to your freshly poured cup and they’ll cool your drink at three times the normal speed, gradually releasing heat over time to maintain the perfect drinking temperature. The boys initially launched the product on [Kickstarter](http://www.kickstarter.com/?ref=protein.xyz), the online funding network that offers all or nothing funding for hopeful entrepreneurs. After an onslaught of pre-orders, seeing them reach 3rd place on the websites most successful applicants of all time, the Coffee Joulies are now under full-time production to meet the 8,000 orders and counting.
