We’ll forgive director [David Allain](http://pulsefilms.co.uk/davidallain.html?ref=protein.xyz) for his Ting Tings video (That’s Not My Name) for this one. And I guess his Rascals and VV Brown videos were pretty good. Anyways, he has collaborated with [VV Brown](http://vvbrown.com/?ref=protein.xyz) (a comic enthusiast who judged last year’s Ctrl.Alt.Shift charity book campaign) to launch a comic book series called [The City of Abacus](http://www.thecityofabacus.com/?ref=protein.xyz). It’s a futuristic, dystopian collection of epic tales that will be released in installments with the complete novel being released at the end of the year. To celebrate the launch, [Jotta](http://www.jotta.com/?ref=protein.xyz) (the sparkling Uni Arts community) has teamed up with VV and David to create an immersive and interactive playground in the basement of The Book Club in Shoreditch; a life size cardboard City of Abacus for the party this Thursday, 6th May. Get on it.
