[The Anonymous Sex Journal](http://prote.in/feed/2013/01/anonymous-sex-journal?ref=protein.xyz) is a compendium of secretly submitted anecdotes about our sex lives. Awkward, touching, weird and surprising, this first issue is made up of twenty-one stories, which have been left as submitted and true to their tone.

The anonymous process has ensured that the journal's content reveals a broad range of personal experience that reads as a candid and intimate account of our sexual DNA. From loss of virginity to post-coital clumsiness and graphic, vivid fantasies, the Anonymous Sex Journal is a confessions booth like no other.

Conceived by [Alex Tieghi-Walker](http://cosmos-works.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz), and with illustrations by [Margot Bowman](http://www.margotbowman.com/?ref=protein.xyz), the journal exists in print-only format, produced by boutique risograph printmasters [Ditto Press](http://www.dittopress.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz). The journal is published by Protein, and the launch will be held in our concept space [18 Hewett Street](http://www.18hewettstreet.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz).

Rebranding this year's Valentine's Day as a celebration of sex, the journal will be launching on February 14th at 18 Hewett Street, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. For the launch, we'll be setting a confessions booth for those who want to submit to the next issue, sounds by [KayaKaya Records](http://www.kayakayarecords.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) and a reading of stories included in this issue by a surprise guest.

Copies of The Anonymous Sex Journal will be available for sale on opening night, and exclusively at the [Protein Store](http://prote.in/product/the-anonymous-sex-journal?ref=protein.xyz). We've got a super limited edition run of 250 hand numbers copies, and at £5 each we recommend you pick one up at the opening before they sell out.
