A Milan company is raising awareness of the chemicals we apply on our skin by enabling people to produce home-made remedies with natural ingredients and processes.  
  
[Teardrop](\"https://www.facebook.com/teardropmyphytocosmeticlab/info\") is a DIY kit consisting of instruments and accessories that allows the user to domestically produce \\"phytocosmetics\\", or plant-based cosmetics, with trusted ingredients and methods.   
  
The distillation system is steam-based and extracts the beneficial properties of each plant, resulting in herbal waters that are 100% natural. The water can then be used to produce other cosmetics. Also included in the kit are jars, labels, recipes and information on the health properties of different plants, fully enabling users to consciously experiment.  
  
This concept is similar to [Alchemist's Dressing Table](\"https://www.prote.in/en/feed/2013/06/the-alchemist-s-dressing-table\"), another DIY kit that seeks to foster home-grown cosmetics.
