Plusminuszero's manufacturing partner, Japanese toy company Takara, have just made some awesome looking internet phones that enable easy communication from one to the other without dialling.

The "phone devices come equipped with Ethernet port, and they communicate with each other using voice over IPv6". For those that don't know, IPv6 is the next generation internet that's currently spreading like wildfire across Asia. Naturally, the IP Thread Telephone also has a "toy port" for net-enabled toys. Toy figures are connected to the port and via remote control users can make the toy figure sing! Only in Japan. Nice.
