Going with the [retro vibes](http://feed.proteinos.com/item/2875?ref=protein.xyz) today comes a celebration of that great ~~New Zealand~~ Aussie Seventies fashion item, the [stubbies](http://www.shots.net/movieplayer.asp?id=31020&UID=D6FDCC03-6DF0-4C20-BCBC-A2A5A201C718&set=ISDN%22&ref=protein.xyz). This delightful ad explains that stubbies are comically short shorts, "available mostly in brown, and in a frightening one size too small". The ad, written by creatives Jamie Hitchcock and Josh Lancaster at Meares Taine and directed by Silverscreen's Adam Stevens, was shot on Super 8 film to achieve a suitably retro look, and rather than trying to provoke a revival of the stubbies fashion look, is in fact for soft drink L&P, "world famous in New Zealand since ages ago". \[shots\]
