Meet [Stanley](http://stanleypiano.com/?ref=protein.xyz), a modified player piano that takes requests via Twitter. [Digital Kitchen](http://thisisdk.com/?ref=protein.xyz) originally created Stanley for the [Capitol Hill Block Party](http://capitolhillblockparty.com/?ref=protein.xyz) in Seattle, Washington.

Tweets are received by a custom-moderation tool, added to a queue, and then a pre-made MIDI file of the song is loaded. A USB MIDI interface then sends note data to Stanley's hardware controller. Finally, each note activates an electric solenoid valve, which plays a key.
