To those unfamiliar with programming it can be an intimidating prospect, but according to robotics-company [Arcbiotics](http://arcbotics.com/?ref=protein.xyz), it doesn’t have to be. In fact, it can be fun and adorable to boot. Recently funded by [Kickstarter](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcbotics/sparki-the-easy-robot-for-everyone?ref=protein.xyz), the company rolled out [Sparki](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcbotics/sparki-the-easy-robot-for-everyone?ref=protein.xyz), a simple to use open source Arduino robot geared towards robotics education.  
  
Sparki works out of the box with remote control. Using simple drag-and-drop block programming, even a child can program Sparki to do a wide variety of tasks. To make things more tangible, Sparki has a marker holder in its core turning the Wall-E lookalike into a small robotic artist. Although simple to program and constructed from the same material as Lego, Sparki is not merely a children’s toy, but has enough features to satisfy pro-users as well.   
  
Arcbiotics shows that programming and robotics don’t have to be inaccessibly challanging or expensive and opens up a set of a tools to a new demographic. Sparki can be pre-ordered on the company's Kickstarter.
