Smartphones mean that more or less everyone has a digital camera in their pocket now, and a large number of those are able to replicate the effect of analogue cameras with things like Instagram filters. There’s even [apps that mimic the preciousness of shooting on film](http://prote.in/feed/2013/02/thirty-six?ref=protein.xyz). Now the gap has been closed even further by this, the [Socialmatic](http://www.social-matic.com/site/?ref=protein.xyz) Camera.

Operating like a traditional digital camera, only with all the features of Instagram. Pictures can be directly uploaded to Facebook and Twitter, or using specially designed sheets, printed by the camera itself, much like a polaroid camera. Each printed photo also comes with a unique QR code that links directly back to the user’s Instagram profile, and can be used to track 'likes' and comments.
