Of all the social media platforms out there, Twitter, and the data it generates, seems to have been the most effective at capturing the attention of creative minds around the world. Now, as a response to a recent report stating that active participation in social media is often associated with a healthy standing in the stock market, creative agency [SapientNitro](http://www.sapient.com/en-us/sapientnitro.html?ref=protein.xyz) have developed the [Social Stock Ticker](http://www.socialstockticker.com/?ref=protein.xyz). Looking like a conventional stock trading machine, the device tracks and prints every tweet mentioning a particular brand, thereby allowing CEO's to keep up to date with their brand's relevance in a refreshingly novel way.  
  
It's interesting to see a response, albeit a tongue in cheek one, to the undeniable relationship between effective social media management and financial success.
