Sleep analysis apps are not new. However turning the data gleaned from your nighttime slumbers into art is. Hotel chain Ibis have taken their experiments with sleep tracking robots to the next level by releasing this iPhone app that does the same, in a slightly more convenient way. In collaboration with production company, [Acne](http://www.acneproduction.com/?ref=protein.xyz), they've developed [Sleep Art](http://https//itunes.apple.com/gb/app/ibis-sleep-art/id596404417?l=gb&ls=1&mt=8&ref=protein.xyz), an app that monitors your sleep patterns and turns them into sleek patterns.

By merging data gathering, a traditionally rather visually ugly affair, with smart, attractive design, the Sleep Art app seems in line with a recent trend, (see [Haze](http://http//www.prote.in/en/feed/2013/02/haze?ref=protein.xyz)) in quantifying programs that are highly design conscious, and stronger for it.
