Dripping layers of oil and acrylic on paper depict teenage passions distilled through popular culture, filmic nostaligia and hazy half-remembered moments. This series of painted screen kisses will occupy the walls of the newly opened gallery, exploiting the tension between Americana, love-sick dreams and faded desire. The neon fronted former shop and studio space now run by artist duo Samuel Levack and Jennifer Lewandowski opens Friday through Sunday from 12–6pm and showcases the work of as yet unrepresented artists - perfect place to spot emerging artists and maybe even future greats. The private view is tonight from 6-9pm.
