To celebrate the launch, the online film network will be showing the film free of charge. The thirty-minute short film is inspired by themes of dystopian suburbia and growing up that are explored in the band’s 2010 [Grammy](http://www.grammy.com/?ref=protein.xyz) award winning album, [The Suburbs](http://www.arcadefire.com/the-suburbs/?ref=protein.xyz). The coming of age story follows the narrator as he is trying to piece together memories of a forgotten teenage summer spent in a war stricken town. With the film being a big success at the [Berlin](http://www.berlinale.de/en/HomePage.html?ref=protein.xyz) and [South by Southwest](http://sxsw.com/?ref=protein.xyz) film festivals, we’re glad to see that it’s now available to watch online for free.
