# Savant: Makers & Misfits No.1 at 18 Hewett St

This Thursday, [18 Hewett Street](http://www.18hewettstreet.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) is set to host the exhibition Makers & Misfits No. 1, organised by exciting new creative collective [Savant](http://www.savant.io/?ref=protein.xyz). The first in a series of events, it is designed to inspire cultural movers and shakers through spaces where technology and art collide.   
  
The exhibition will feature the textile work of Brooklyn based [Philip Stearns](https://www.prote.in/en/feed/2012/02/glitch-textiles?ref=protein.xyz) and graphic illustrations of [Samuel Bell](http://www.samuelbell.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz). Alongside this work, an interactive geodesic installation coated in undulating LEDs and designed to respond to sound stimulation will register the performances from 21-year-old producer [Catching Flies](https://soundcloud.com/catchingfliesmusic?ref=protein.xyz) and musician [Bo en](https://soundcloud.com/bo-en?ref=protein.xyz). In addition, [CubeCola](http://www.cube-cola.org/?ref=protein.xyz) present reverse engineered Coke-powder cocktails.   
  
This event runs for just one night and is open to members of the public from 6.30pm. Come on down.
