According to the [Financial Times](http://www.ft.com/cms/s/bb3ac0f6-2e15-11db-93ad-0000779e2340.html?ref=protein.xyz), Thomson Financial, a business information service, has been using computers to generate stories since March. The robo journalist can generate a financial earnings story in 0.3 seconds. Thomson has no plans to replace human journalists any time soon, only to "free up reporters so they have more time to think."
