Spring is in the air finally. With it comes that annual ritual – the spring clean. If this seems less than appealing this year then maybe have a look at the work of [Symbollix](http://www.symbollix.com/?ref=protein.xyz) for inspiration. With their work originally coming under scrutiny from the authorities, this group’s ethos has since been embraced and flourished, with commissions from the [London Metropolitan Police](http://content.met.police.uk/Home?ref=protein.xyz) to [Crisis Shelter](http://www.crisis.org.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) (featured above). And what is this ethos?

In the artist's own words – ‘Grime writers and purveyors of inventive finery’. As the first ecologically sound advertising network, the artists use the removal of existent dirt as their format of expression.
