[Louis Vuitton](http://www.louisvuitton.com/?ref=protein.xyz) has long been dedicated to the art of travel. Not too long ago the luxury brand released a set of [city guides](http://www.prote.in/feed/2012/09/louis-vuitton-city-guides?ref=protein.xyz), an interactive website dedicated to [The Art of Packing](http://www.prote.in/feed/2012/06/the-art-of-packing?ref=protein.xyz), and a book entitled [100 Legendary Trunks](http://www.prote.in/feed/2012/05/100-legendary-trunks?ref=protein.xyz).

LV's latest homage to leaving home goes extraterrestrial—martian, to be exact—with [Red Journey](http://vimeo.com/52230493?ref=protein.xyz). The short film was made for Louis Vuitton by [Maneki Lab](http://www.maneki-lab.com/?ref=protein.xyz), using full CGI to create actual locations on Mars.

With gorgeous gorges and mindblowing mountains, Red Journey leaves us itching for more Mars.
