There’s a lot of history, crossover, and namedropping in this premiere of **[No Surrender](http://www.myspace.com/nosurrender?ref=protein.xyz)**’s “Godda Get It”— a groping, grimy jam sticky with parking-lot feedback, Rick James-esque yelps, and fuzzy synths. First, No Surrender is a downtown fixture, overseeing the underground party scene since the nineties. Next, “Godda Get It” features the tropical stylings of Euro-production team **[Radioclit](http://www.myspace.com/radioclit?ref=protein.xyz)** (whose rotating collabo cache includes the likes of Santigold, M.I.A., Bonde Do Role, and of course, The Very Best). Guests on No Surrender’s upcoming album include Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio) and speaking of TV, No Surrender’s own Eddie Steeples plays Darnell on *My Name Is Earl*. Confused yet? Just remember that *Medicine Babies* is the name of the album dropping this fall, and it’s gonna be dope.
